Lipodissolve
Lipodissolve is used to reduce superficial deposits of fat.
Lipodissolve is the term given to subcutaneous injections of two substances called phosphatidylcholine and deoxycholate. A recent article in the March issue of the Aesthetic Journal of Surgery goes through the current literature to determine if Lipodissolve really works. The articles authors found that, in fact, lipodissolve does work! They found that lippodissolve is clinically effective at removing moderate amounts of fat in appropriate patients. More importantly, they found that there were no serious adverse effects in the healthy adult women that they reviewed in their study. They found that the ideal candidate for this procedure was a patient who desired treatment of “small areas of excess fat or localized deposits.” The article went on to say that patients, “need to be aware that achieving desired results may take several months.”Popular Areas of Treatment: Bra Roll, Abdomen, Inner Thighs, Arms, and Flanks
Treatment
Lipodissolve does not offer skin tightening benefits or address skin laxity in the treated areas. However, to enhance results, consider combining Lipodissolve with our skin tightening series using Accent Prime. It's important to note that Lipodissolve does not target cellulite or fat deposits like lipomas. The treatment areas for Lipodissolve include saddlebags, inner thighs, love handles, abdomen, arms, and "bra fat." For comprehensive results, a combination of treatments can be tailored to meet individual needs and desired outcomes.
What to Expect
The procedure uses fine needles to minimize discomfort, and Lidocaine is applied to further reduce any discomfort. After the injections, the area may become warm, red, and experience a prickling sensation. Tenderness, swelling, and numbness can last a few days, along with possible bruising. These are normal responses to the treatment, and no complicated pre- or post-treatment is needed; you can resume your daily activities right after. Typically, 2-4 treatments at 6-8 week intervals are recommended for best results, with visible improvements after about 4 weeks. The results are considered permanent as dissolved fat cells do not return, provided a stable weight and positive lifestyle are maintained.

Who is NOT a Candidate for Lipodissolve?
Lipodissolve may not be suitable for individuals with allergies to B group vitamins or soybeans, diabetics, those on warfarin, individuals with poor liver function, and certain auto-immune diseases like dermatomyositis, scleroderma, and SLE.
