Hyperdilute Radiesse In University Park- Dallas, TX
Lift, Tighten & Reduce The Look Of Cellulite.
What Is “Hyperdilute” Radiesse?
Hyperdilute Radiesse is simply Radiesse that has been thinned out with a mixture of saline solution and Lidocaine. This diluted mixture is injected into areas where the skin is showing sagging and looseness. The calcium hydroxyapatite molecules in Radiesse then stimulate the body to build new collagen. This naturally firms and improves the area, adding volume to the sagging area and improving the skin texture.
It doesn’t “fill” in the area of volume loss as typical hyaluronic acid fillers do. Instead, the calcium hydroxyapatite molecules stimulate the body to produce new amounts of collagen. This then firms and plumps the skin over time, filling in areas of volume loss and pushing back up wrinkles and lines. This is really a natural solution to regain volume.
Hyaluronic acid fillers like Juvederm and Restylane serve a different purpose. They are made basically from hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the human body that is responsible for hydrating, plumping, and firming the skin. When injected beneath a wrinkle or into an area of volume loss, these fillers simply fill in space as the hyaluronic acid binds with nearby water molecules. These results usually last 6-9 months, depending upon the amount of movement in the skin of the area (more movement shortens the duration of the results).
Hyperdilute Radiesse lasts even longer than regular Radiesse. After three injection sessions, patients are seeing long-term volume return accomplished (24-36 months) with only a single maintenance session once every year or so.

Who Is An Ideal Candidate For Hyperdilute Radiesse?
Our injectors are able to gradually tighten and thicken targeted areas of skin, creating smoother, firmer, younger-looking skin on treatment areas across the face and body. It’s an exciting new treatment that can correct a wider range of aesthetic problems, including crepe-like skin, skin laxity, and even areas of cellulite. It does this naturally through the body’s own collagen production.
What Kinds Of Results Can I Expect With These Hyperdilute Radiesse Treatments?
When Radiesse is diluted in this fashion and is then injected into areas of collagen (and subsequent volume) loss it triggers the body to produce new collagen. But the difference is the type of collagen produced. There are three forms of collagen, Type I, Type II, and Type III. The original collagen in our bodies that is produced to provide the structural latticework that supports our skin is Type I collagen. That’s where the problem with aging occurs, as the production of this original form of collagen drops by one additional percentage point every year after our 20th birthday. That means by the age of 45, our skin is supported by 25 percent less collagen; that’s why it’s about that time when wrinkles, lines, and areas of volume loss start to show up.
Hyperdiluted Radiesse has now been shown to stimulate new production of Type I collagen. Type II and Type III collagen are inferior strains without the longevity and strength of the original form. That’s why hyperdiluted Radiesse is such a great new treatment option.
Any area that is sagging or is showing crepe-like skin can be changed with these treatments. You’ll see smoother, plump, firmer skin in all of the areas injected. From there, occasional maintenance every year or so maintains your plump, younger-looking skin.
Downtime & Results
There is no downtime. There can be some slight bruising at the injection sites, but this is minimal thanks to the use of the cannula. Patients can get right back to their normal activities immediately after their session. There is an immediate plumping effect from the injections but it is not the final result.
You will start to notice significant improvements in about four weeks with full results achieved in about six months after your last treatment.
Can I Combine Hyperdilute Radiesse With Other Treatments?
These new treatments make a perfect complement to just about anything else we do at Body Lounge. For instance, you could have hyperdilute Radiesse fill the backs of your hands and we could add a microdermabrasion session or a chemical peel. Really, just about any treatment, we provide (as long as the treatment area is not the same) would be a good complement to these new Radiesse offerings.
