Dissolve Fat Deposits Non-Surgically & Permanently
Lipodissolve in University Park - Dallas, TX
What is Lipodissolve?
There are several non-surgical alternatives that actually provide real results and permanently remove fat. The important issue is that patients need to be well informed and understand the advantages and limitations of these various procedures. One such non-surgical alternative to fat removal is “Lipodissolve”.
Lipodissolve is meant to treat areas with a small amount of fat that are not targeted by diet and exercise, such as on “bra fat” area, midsection, love handles, knees, inner thighs, and outer thighs (also known as saddlebags). These microinjections are intended for body contouring and are not a weight loss solution.
Lipodissolve is a the terms given to subcutaneous injections of two substances called phosphatidylcholine and deoxycholate. A recent article in the Aesthetic Journal of Surgery found that lippodissolve is clinically effective at removing moderate amounts of fat in appropriate patients. More importantly, they found that there were no serious adverse effects in the healthy adult women that they reviewed in their study. They found that the ideal candidate for this procedure was a patient who desired treatment of “small areas of excess fat or localized deposits.” The article went on to say that patients, “need to be aware that achieving desired results may take several months.”
There are no skin tightening benefits in the treated areas of the body, and it doesn't address skin laxity that may result. A good way to get more bang for your buck is to add a skin tightening series with our Accent Prime after you complete your Lipodissolve treatment. This procedure does not address cellulite and fat deposits like lipomas.

Lidocaine is used to minimize discomfort. Tenderness, swelling and a general numbness in the area can last a several days. Some bruising can also occur. All of these are normal responses following this procedure. Complicated pre- or post-treatment is unnecessary and you can return to your daily duties after treatment.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
The number of treatments depends on your body’s individual response to the treatment, generally, 2-4 treatments at 6-8 week intervals are ideal. Results are not immediate but are evident after 4 weeks.
Are the Results Permanent?
According to the current state of knowledge, fat cells that have been dissolved do not return. This means that the fat deposits concerned are permanently gone. Provided your weight remains the same and a positive lifestyle is maintained the results of lipolysis should also remain the same.
