What is Dermal Filler?

A filler called Radiesse was used in the cheek area to lift where collagen had been lost and in turn define the chin as well.

Ever look in the mirror and realize you lost your top lip or cheekbones somewhere along the way in life?
While we're born with an abundance of collagen in our skin, the body's production of collagen slows in our mid-to-late 20's and continues to slow down after age 30. From there, the collagen levels in our skin begin to drop by 1-2% each year.

Because of this, our everyday activities like laughing, expressing, kissing, using straws, and even pursing my lips contribute to the development of life lines vertically around our mouth, wrinkles & lines. Whether you are wanting to redefine what you once had, plump, lift or reduce lines- taking in consideration your natural anatomy and a realistic goal with a plan, we can get you there!

Dermal filler is made from a soft hyaluronic gel that fills in lines and smoothes out the lips. It is strategically placed based on the desired area of treatment. Dermal Filler is a clear gel formulation of hyaluronic acid- a sugar that is naturally present in your skin and helps to promote collagen production.

You may hear Juvaderm, Restylane, Radiesse, Lyft, Voluma...the list goes one.  The reason is that there are MANY different types of filler and it can be overwhelming.  Some are better for certain areas than others.

Once you and I have consulted and determined your objectives- I will then recommend which filler to choose to best & most effectively achieve your desired results.

Fillers Can Be Used For:
